right here are a few update pics as promised.

Image

rear in the air as the backs have been sent off for banding now, not sure if to go 11" or 10", the front wheels dont quite fill the arch so if i go 10 inchs and they look to small on the rear i can always swap em to the front n band the rears to 11 or 12, yes yes yes i know im silly

Image

the leg in the vice ready for modifying, again im sorry for not taking pictures as i went along cos of not wanting to cover my iphone in oil!

Image

picture of the front right wing from behind, see the wheel doesnt quite fill arch, be good enough for taking to the ace cafe though

Image

same arch from the front

Image

nice pic showing the front splitter which i ran a bit of matt black over

Image

close up of the join, not perfect, but before car goes to paint gonna fill in joins with stickerflex or sumin, dont want to use filler as it cracks, maybe builders caulk will do, well n e way i will think of something,

will have better pics when my wheels come back from being banded as i can move the car about again, then can get final arch done, have got a random rear set of lowering springs for the car so if i cant get the rally design spring kit by then, that will have to go on to give the car a bit more stance.

next stage is sell/swap my charade, pick up the exhaust from rob, and then fit that. then its book the MOT time

As Jimi said that's coming along nicely already.. I think for the kind of beast that you are creating a full matt black paint job would like quite menacing

Keep us posted with pics!

it will prob end up all black for the ace cafe as its easy to do and messanjah keeps bugging me about doing it that way aswell,
has to be orange in the end though as i want my jager sponsership for when i go to festivals, it means free booze for me and hopefully some jagerettes.

mercedes where i work are going to do a pre MOT on my car once i get my wheels back from the banders so i can write a final list of wants in the wantage section so we can get the e21 to the last ace cafe meet for us this year.

I'm actively trying to raise cash and I still have a stash of E21 breakers, so if you do need anything bring your list on Wednesday

TCAs are definitely a consumable, I need several sets myself... I was going to get mine from W&N but thats still over £100 a set. I was told it was easy enough to replace the rubbers and I'm going to have a look into that at a later stage.

i knew they would be the problem part! damn it! hmmmmmmm will have to find an MOT man that wont look at them either then, i wonder if i cover them up with electrical tape so they dont look like they are leaking, or make some little rubber boots of my own sumhow.
do GSF sell them? sometimes they can be uber cheap!

well hopefully off to Robs tomorrow to go pick up the exhaust for the car, wont be the final exhaust system but will get me through the mot and still sound rather fruity.

thursday hopefully my new white e30 baur will arive and it can go straight out the door giving me some more money

will also be building the other rear arch on the car and lowering it onto the standard steels on the rear so i can wheel her about.

not looking foward to working in the cold on thursday thats for sure!

all just depends on getting this e30 for thursday

Hmmm... I like that front spoiler very much. Was it part of a 2002 kit, or from an e21 kit?
