after ringing Rich at fritz, and dicovering he has no e21 head lamps in stock, and mine went with the other car im in a bit of a pickle for headlamps. then rich came up with a lovely idea! use the square hella headlamp conversion lol, yeah i know its gonna look a bit gash but it will defo give a whole different look to the car and confuse people. also have another cunning plan for the square lamp conversion but will give update on that in another thread later.
sold the alpina/oz wheels i had now and will be ordering the spring kit, bucket seat and a couple o other little bits i need today ready for the MOT,
also will be mounting my AFR guage at some point into the exhaust so i can have a little fiddle with the tuning ready for the MOT.
will purchase 5 cans o satin black spray and on the engine conversion party im having will set the rest of the crew who are coming over on rubbing down and masking my car juty! i just praying for good weather, or it will be an under neith my house in the garage party :)
not gonna have a full day off for a while now, well not till thursday so unless its a nice evening and the ground is dry then not much more car work im afraid, just got to weight for my bits to turn up now and do it all in one last go.

my mate has a load of landrover lights which we gonna have a crack at tonight, but i sold the brackets with my last lights cos im a knob head so we where gonna have to make some frames, i can get hold of some golf lights from my local scrappy so not a major issue.
im actually liking to the idea of some ugly wierd looking square lights though, just to mix it up a little

errrrrr no, £100 is not fair, i would rather buy an hid kit and then stick some golf lights in her and make my own brackets would work out cheaper

well i gotta have 15"s so that i can drop it on the floor for custom shows, can drop whole car by 3" :).

my plan eventually is to fit a e28 back end in her so gives me a bit more track and then 17" wide 5 stud splits are readliy available n cheap so can play around a lot more.

need to get some crazy camber on the front wheels, was thinking tom c's kmacs but not sure they gonna give me enough adjusability,

might have to make my own ones i think, buy some from good ol rally desgin,

want the car so i can set it up for driving normally and track days etc, then so i can slam it on stupid camber n low as fuk for shows like RTTS. im determind to get this car magazine featured

you'll need to cut more out of the rear guards to get it on the floor wouldnt you?
and who says you cant put it on the floor with 17s?!

for more camber (and track) on the cheap, could you just slot the TCA mounting holes in the subframe and weld some washers in further out? (or just drill another hole?), then modify the tie rod or rod ends to reach out further. :D
