im sorry, and i have tried saying sorry, not our fault if the guy storms off! everyone has a right to there own car etc and what they do and do not like.
its a pink e21!
we have all said the work is great on the car, everyone has. and the bloke has specifically asked questions on how is paint looks, and what we think.
the guy is entering into euro/jap meets so is showing off the car, and day glow pink will attract attention!
If i painted my car kawisaki ninja green, yeah its a cool colour but if i posted it on here and people started calling me kermit im not gonna storm off and not come back on here.
its like the people in jeremy khyle! why if there having a domestic fight do they go on TV? attention. why paint a classic car a bright colour and go on a forum and say look at my car, its bright pink. attention! same way im painting my car bright orange, attention! my mum will undoubtly call me a satzoomer! ("satsuma")
i am sorry on my point that some of criticism was not helpful but all where made in a joking manner, nobody was directly offensive to the chap - but dont post a bright pink car onto a classic/retro car site and not expect to get stick because if it.
if any of us get banned i will be severly disapointed

try posting this car on barryboys.com and then see what abuse looks like!

like i said im sorry for winding bloke up but not sorry about my opinion of the car and if you dont want your style choices questioned and scrutinized then dont post it on a forum!

im sorry too. i'll try more assertivley to keep my opinions (even when people ask for my opinion) to myself.

like i said, i'll welcome anyone to come on my threads and tell me my car's or my ideas for it are shit!
ill take any critisim on board and maybe rethink what im doing. (like people have said about my rear/mid mounted turbo ideas........)
what i wont do is start writing angry posts in big colourful capital letters!

"Oh, ze Breeteesh and yor zenze ov huoomor!"
Seriously though, Brit banter is usually set at 7 or above (on a scale to 10), but it is a difficult concept to get your head around if you are in mainland Europe.

Thanks to you too Murran.

Point is, apart from the Brit banter that I usally know to appreciate, that people should be able to expose themselves, even ask for opinions, but also to receive replies as long as they show respect for each other. Aren't we all glad we're not all alike? Should appreciate that rather than condemn.

This place should be a place where a joke can be made, but within certain limits. Respect for each others' taste and posessions should be the most important one.

try a motorsport front valance maybe a carbon/black boot lid, paint the carbon bonnett and just leave the strip on the bonnett in carbon, maybe even use a carbon vinal stripe over the roof and boot lid? then just stick two fingers up at anybody who takes the piss.. also more photos of drifting please.

Cool video. looks like lots of fun! :D :D

got more pics of how the widebody turned out? im keen to see it lowered on the new arches. also, what are your plans for the front bumper? that is the first thing that i would upgrade/modify if it was my car.

so is this predominantly a show car or do you plan to do some more serious difting with it too?

love this pic btw...
