Do E30 battery in boot kits work for the E21's??

I can't see why they wouldn't? It's just the battery cables that run through and a battery mounting plate isn't it?

I used a e36 coupe batery cable better quality than a e30 and has a nice power distribution box for the engine bay

It's not really the price that's the issue, it's the postage that shafts you!

Nice bit of kit though, rear strut brace and battery relocation kit in one.
