course im bloody ok! except i gotta stretch that tyre over that stupidly phat rim again!
if i was in a decent county with out crap roads it would be ok! just gotta calm down my drifting or get proper tyres, gotta make that desicion over next few weeks.
will take a pic in morning.
half way through a bottle of jager now with hannah so pics are not my priority at mo lol
i have a special stretch guy, and even he was shocked. i love to have a little bit of a different car,
to be honset its the first time i have ever carried a spare tyre on my car
hey im not sure if this would work, but what if you had thin rings welded on the rim that the tyre bead would sit on the outside of? may help reduce the chance of the tyre pulling back inwards?
would work but prob be a bitch even more than it already is to get the tyre to sit onto that rim, i just think i need a less stupid stretch and need to sort my suspension out i thinks
cheers buddy, i was wondering about them on my lunch, £60 is a mega high price for part worns though. says they fully guarentee the tyre but the momment they see the stretch im putting on the wheel they will just laugh at that guarentee. will offer them £35 for the pair, and then leave them for the 23 days that the lot is going for
There's a guy in Ashford / Mdlsex who gets quality brand part-worns (Fulda and Pirelli) and usually does them for £20 fiited / balanced. If he hasn't got them in stock he can usually get most sizes too. I think I gave SS his number? Certainly worth a call anyway.
i doubt he will be able to fit the tyres on my rims, you need a bead seater and it takes a lot of work! but be great to have a cheap supplyer, im thinking about testing a set of 225/60/15's on there to see if they are a little safer. as they are a lot cheaper to buy. those dunlops suggested would be perfect just seems a lot for part worns to me
No, you'd have to get them fitted but he's just good at finding decent part worns. I got a full set of near new rubber for 80 quid inc' fitting and balancing!
Tyre place in Twickenham quoted me 25 quid a tyre to fit my Toyos! £100 to fit 4 bloody tyres!
