Right, well its Christmas Day, Claire has popped out and I'm trying to arrange time to have the suspension on my car sorted out. Not easy when everyone else is sitting down to a turkey dinner.
Anyway, after handing over a great wad of cash to GAZ the 323 struts I got from Dave @ e21-Revival have been converted into lovely, shiny coil-overs. (Happy Crimbo to me!
) In early January my car is going over to another Dave @ M-tech in Essex to have them fitted along with adjustable top mounts. I think I might well flip the rear subframe bushes at the same time and get the negative camber, on the rear, down to a more useful level.
Once the suspension is sorted it'll be going back to Mick @ Pristine Bodyworks to re-fit the Alpina front spoiler, Motorsport rear spoiler and roll the arches, prior to re-painting them. Hopefully, that little lot should bring about quite a transformation for next year. Especially once I fit the single wiper conversion.
I think I might garage it for a couple of months after that lot, to protect it from the worst of the Winter and all the salt and crud on the roads. I guess running round in a 316 will make it seem a hell of a lot quicker come Spring time.
The Mosselman turbo set-up is sat in the boot awaiting my attention so that'll be the next thing on the list. Mind you, I've been checking out Nitrous systems.....

Ha-ha-ha awesome response. I obviously dont celebrate Christmas and did venture out to take my Alpina Replica out of the garage i rent. Took the Purple E21 down and got it stuck in snow. Took me over an hour to get the bloody thing out.....I should have stayed indoors and played monopoly.RetroBeemer wrote:My e21's more reliable than my family. Apart from Claire that is.
