You have my vote on that one !!!RetroBeemer wrote:If you guys are interested I can try and submit a feature to some of the magazines if we get another good turn out like last month?
Alternativly,we could always look at doing something a little more central so that those of you outside London can make it?
should of warmed up atleast a little bit by next month, would it be better to wait till it gets a bit lighter earlyer before we do an ace shoot? or if we organize it properly all get down there a bit earlyer, e.g about 4 oclock. i know be a bit tricky cos some will have to leave work a bit early. think i can scive an afternoon off though

What we could do is concentrate on the Spring BMW event @ the Ace which usually takes place in late March or early May? Last year there was a really good turn out and the weather was lovely too. Hopefully, with a bit of notice, it will mean those of you that are currently working on your cars will have time to get them street legal? I reckon it would be a great way to kick off the years events and considering we had 11 cars there last month, 20 seems an achievable goal. I know of 4 Alpina cars and a County Race car we could ask along to.
If you guys are interested, I am happy enough to try and drum up some support but I don't want to give the immpression that I see myself as some self-appointed organiser. I'm just enthusiastic and happen to have some time on my hands. I also think that getting our cars seen will generate interest in what, until recently, has been one of BMW's less covered models. I'm just mindful of the fact that I don't want to come across as if I know what's best, if that makes sense? Anyway, what do you think? Mark
