The E12 M535i was the first production Motorsport car built by BMW. We hear nowadays about E30 Sport, E36 Sport...E60 sport etc but these cars was the first of the sport generation. Only 501 ever built and only 60 odd RHD remaiing.....these cars are rare and i own 2
3.5 with a LSD and a Close ratio Dogleg box as standard....back in the early 80's. This is what i call special. Dont get me wrong, i love my E21's, but these cars are a huge part of the BMW heritage !!!
