That's what I was thinking...I really have been looking forward to getting it down there this time but I took it for a small spin on Sunday and didn't feel great driving it.
It's a shame they're not fixed after all, but I'd rather not crash it and save it for next month....Just need a lift there now, or could take Polo I guess seeing as Tommi's only has one seat lol

DO. NOT. RISK. IT. The reward is not worth the risk. Besides, a VW Polo is German, (sort of, as they were built in Spain), right?Pho21_girl wrote:I seriously don't know what to do tonight...wheels are done on my car but the brakes are still really dodgy. Tommi says it's fine to drive with but I don't like it, especially if it's going to be icy tonight. Pumping the brakes all the time isn't going to be much fun the whole journey there and back in traffic...what do ppl think? Drive carefully or not risk it??

On another tangent, is it me or should they put a year cut-off on German Car Night (for example 1999) to encourage the older model owners to come along? I'm pretty bored of looking at late-model tat at these meets, it was like walking through a supermarket car park! If I want to look a tarted-up X6 I can walk through Belgravia.
