Well I have a plan for my turbo set up aswell. Gonna need to modify the manifold to accept injectors as the 320i head has the injectors in the head. And euro stuff doesn't unless n e one can find me sumin, not sure what p and p is gonna be but such a rare bit doesn't really bother me so can afford it :)

The e30 engine I have has injectors/manifold etc already so you could do it without that kit, but it's nice authentic stuff so you will find a way. Just drill a hole for the injector over each inlet area, or machine the head??

Alternatively I did speak to Dave at E21 revival a year or two ago about an e21 320i M10 with injectors in the head, he may still have that.

the kit also has the feed for the turbo and take off from the oil filter, drjim gonna have those flanges off you aswell me thinks, gotta better idea for the turbo placment, gonna stick it where the battery is, means i dont have to shift my crappy brake servo then :).
think im just gonna cut up the manifold drjim sending me and then modify that into the turbo one, just be easyer then drilling into the head thats for sure.

well little update.

when my card finally registers with my paypal acount and lifts my limit i will be paying for my manifold and postage to here and then giving drjim some money for the 2 litre engine.

havent decided where im going to store the engine, its a bit heavy to be putting in the lift and putting up in my flat :(

gonna have to find a mate with a garage who will lend me a corner for a few weeks me thinks.

i have sourced an engine stand so once i get all the bits here i can start stripping down and cleaning all the bits slowly and finally making myself an engine that works :)

still a little undecided what to do about the turbo inlet manifold if to cut and shut an injector holder into place. think i will take pics when i get it all in front of me and then everyone can give me some idea's

my twin 40's are still up for sale for anyone interested or i may stick them on hannahs car although i would rather have some extra pennies towards my project.

parts i need to get are -

electric fuel pump
swirl pot
some fuel line
megasquirt :)

alley bars, 6 point cage although i havent got round to fitting it properly yet,
the interior is going black and the cage going white.
going to modify the cage quite heavily and add lots more bars into it. its relativly thin diamter tubing but fits very tightly into the car, just needs a few more bracing bars

looks tough. i like it.

silly suggestion here, if you ever wanted to have a laugh with it you could get some stickers made up and do a german version of the initial d car. lol im not sure what fujiwara tofu shop translates to, or even if it does, but you get what i mean aye?

My dampers are a bit poop and with the current pothole situation I can't drop it, go another 3 inches of suspension drop still left if needed though so it can go loads lower just not really on the roads, need wider wheels though to fill the arches so gonna have to get the fronts banded out, when the lower half of the car is painted it should look a lot different as it will frame the wheels a bit better,
gonna ditch the jäger stickers I think cos no really liking them. Gonna try black alpina stripes I think.
Gonna see if I can get a copy of that e21 cad file and knock up some ideas been a while since I done a bit of cad but I'm sure I can remember some of the basics
ordered my clear front inducTors aswell today so should improve the front a little bit more
will post more pics when I fit some more bits

I don't say much on this forum but this thread is worth comentating on.
Totally feeling this build thread and I'm sure I'm not stretching out on a limb by saying this will be a PBMW mag feature when completed.

Well done!
