A nice target to aim for...

That's before a cut and buff. My wife could do her makeup in the reflection.

The day I rolled it out of the garage.

Silver surfer, no disrespect mate, but whats the "badest" about the car apart from good paint work? car is nice but nothing that much to drool over.. paint work is baddest.. love that.Silver Surfer wrote:Come on guys. Let's stop 'player hating', he's got the baddest e21 on the block. Bar none. It's also the arguably the most original.
Well done dude.

Interesting comments.Me?for what its worth ,i'd have it on my drive any day of the week.I'd like to see more shots of the interior, boot and engine bay, though.
As for the oem debate, well,my feeling is that any car that uses the original manufacturers parts or any parts that would have been used as standard or as an option at the time of manufacture can be seen as "oem".A set of MIMs for instance or a pair of Corbeau's perhaps a Milltek system,in my view negates the "oem" claim. But who am i?
All that aside,my congratulations to Nic for building what has to be one of the nicest E21's in the WORLD!Not a bad claim to fame

There's one out there with my name on it.
I have a thousand pictures or so. I'm sure I can drudge up some new ones for everyone.
engine bay:

Interior

My wife did all the houndstooth.
I hate the seats. I need to get some regular ol' recaros.
Really terrible picture of the trunk:

Did someone say something about MiMs?

My old set. I have some rapid prototyped centercaps if anyone is interested.

Great work my friend. Kudos to your girlfriend for the trim. The hard work certainly paid off.
Are you going to stay with the standard fit steering wheel?

No I have a wheel to get wrapped, but haven't gotten around to it. See the answer below as to priority of car projectsRetroBeemer wrote:Are you going to stay with the standard fit steering wheel?

I have a supercharger on the shelf. I need to finish my custom intake manifold and such. The wife's car gets done next though. She has a 72 Bavaria with triple side draft.
