I was planning to do this for this summer, though I've just sold my E28!

I'm going to have to check local trailer hire first. I guess e21's are light enough to get away with a single axle one?

I'd have thought you would rather buy used and let someone else swallow the depreciation.
My pal just bought a 14ft twin axle with electric winch for £1 200 and it's only 11 months old - less than half what it cost originally.

I think the first mod happened within 2 minutes.

It's new rear discs time tomorrow. Soon to be followed by a set of satin black Oz Saturn 17'' rims finished in satin black, lowered springs and an Alpina steering wheel.

I'll post some better pics once I bring it home - I had too much on yesterday.

I also need to replace the rear discs as they were a bit pitted from lack of use.

Time to crack on with fitting the rack mounts on the e21.

Loving the black kidneys and yellow lights. To my mind yellow lights only look good on a darker car, so that black e28 is lookin EVIL!
