they will wind down lower than that i ve not run mine yet though but im sure someone on the forum will be able to comfirm how low they go.

I lowered it till there was no arch gap on 15's. they still had more to go.

Not had much time recently but I've got all the brakes and clutch done and bled up. So im going to move it to my unit over the festive period and give it a final push and Finnish it. ( fingers crossed lol)

I'm loving the steels & chrome trims. I'm thinking 13's now 15's have been done to death.
As has already been said, cracking build Jamie.
There are some stunning UK builds out there now. Yours, Woody, Nas and Aydin to name just 4. I hope we can get them all in the one place next Spring?! They'll make quite a sight and show there's more to e21 than just Alpina replicas.

dont think he is saying hes not liking them. just that a change from the norm is refreshing. If my car was another colour it would have more than likely gone the alpina rep route. (got the front spoiler, looking at the rear one and would love some sensibly priced alpina rims for mine
)

I woke up early this morning and started reading through the build. I absolutely love it ! I have a lot of admiration for people who can do all the build themselves unlike me, I would have to pay someone else to do all this and more than likely get stung somewhere along the line.
Keep up the good work and always keep the camera to hand. Lol

Only kidding. Lol. The attention to detail is fantastic.
wouldn't mind a finish like that underneath my car too. Its is just as important as the panels above.

Normally calling the Nas helpline mid job for reassurance as his help ( and others on the forum) has been invaluable. I enjoy it and the thread keeps track in the future of what's been done.

Exactly. You only have to go back a couple of years and we were all pretty much heading in the same direction with what were seen as acceptable mods. As e21's have got more popular here in the UK, the diversity of mods has also increased. Misky's first V8 incarnation, Woody and his VW inspired sticky-up tailpipe and race stuff like Jason & Jims cars. There's a girl over on Retro Rides who has some of the strangest mods (early Land Rover steering wheel), which although not my cup of tea, still show an e21 that's a bit different to the usual cars and show how much she cherishes her e21. That has to be a good thing surely? The desirability gap between 316 and 323 is getting smaller too! Misky's newly restored gold 316 and Woody's henna red show just how nice an m10 powered car can be. I think we've lagged behind mainland Europe for years but, going by recent builds on here, we are catching up fast. More and more people are looking for e21's and that has to reflect on the desirability and values of our cars doesn't it?
Obviously this is just my opinion though.
