2) i had any spare E21 parts except for a light switch

Car for sale, soon to be on ebay etc...need the money to find a new place to live.

Won't be getting any further help with doing it up, so plan to sell the polo won't work anymore as i can't do the work myself.

I'm uber fricking gutted but no other way out of it.

 just how much money is needed to get your car straight?!

at the end of the day, you're probably making the sensible choice. living has to come before doing a car up.

whilst of course you could live in the car...using the engines rocker cover as a stove, the cooling system water to shower (ewww...), the cooling fans as a fridge and so on. it just won't beat a house

sorry it has to end this way. and who knows, you may yet own a working E21 one day.

all the best.

Thanks Ross :D I know it's the right choice now, i was going to sell the polo next month but what with the change in circumstances, i have to be clever now.

i will definitely own one again some day, when i have the opportunity and the means, love them, or if i win the lotto i'll buy 3 lol!

living in a car would have had to be an option lol if it wasn't for my parents saying i can go home for a bit till i find somewhere else.

will take the beemer for a few runs yet, get paid tomorrow so can top her up with fuel and enjoy it while i can

Cheers, han x

If it still drives, what's actually wrong with it? I'd be taking it back home with me and fixing it up.

It's your fault I have to sell it, so you think I'll sell you them at a reduced price?! Lol funny

They're going with the car I'm afraid...
