webber carbs plus manifold
s/steel manifold and full exahst
coilovers
polybushed all round
bbs splits or something on those lines

its always easier to start with a very nice one, it means u can spend more on goodies!
you remind me of me a year n a half ago, when i joined this forum. with a stock 316 n a dream lol.
try n read as many threads in the owners section as u can, its a good source of knowledge about the potential of these cars.
Where did you get classic bmw owners like dub from? I Love dub...and have bmw.
Like the car also but keep the chrome, its what makes it classic!

yo yo yo!
snows now gone, yesss!
right took the car out for a spin today and gave it a good run! and done a few drifts on the local roundabouts but there was something wrong, as the car was leaning quite alot there was a loud knocking sound, what could this be?
driveshaft, diff, suspention, wheel, bearing! i havent got a clue
it also does it when i turn sharply either left or right and i mean shap turning reving pretty high and the rear wheels are spinning!
wondering if anybody could share any light on this one??
thanks!

suspension bushes are prolly gone? where was the noise coming from? front?
superflex.co.uk do a full set, I've got them on mine and I rate them highly.

Apart from hitting the sump the rear anti roll bar mounts will ground out too! You'll have massive negative camber on the rear as well.
