I did mine without the e30 plug bit - I didn't get the body plug bit of the loom. Colours the other side of the plug are a little different but with an ETM and some common sense it's not too hard to suss. If you haven't got the E21 loom for the connector it could be a bit tricky wiring in directly. It's the same connector for all E21's - surely you can find one somewhere?? You could of course unbolt the fuse box, wire in to the insides of the box and connect those wires to the body loom side of the e30 loom. Gonzo and Murran have fusebox-e21 loom plug- e21loom-e30loom-e30 body mount connector-e30 loom. I am missing the e30 body mount bit. Doing it direct to the e30 plug would probably look better - if done properly not bodged like erm mine - although I have a few rolls of cotton loom tape ready to go on once I have made sure it all works!

Sure you could find an E21 loom from someone who's breaking if you look hard enough ?? Might be a tad time consuming mind you. You got yours running yet or what Jimbles ???
