There's no fog light in the phase 1 rears, so the bulb compartiments are different. Put a ph1 and a ph2 light next to each other and you'll see the difference.

They can be retrofitted, as the size and shape are the same.

Ah! So that explains the ugly square fog light on the left side of my bumper!

Hmmmmaybe, i don't think it would get trough the 'APK' without it  I think i'm just going to relocate it to the centre or something! Front spoiler is for sale though :D

It will, fog lights are not a requirement. If they were, loads of old cars wouldn't get through.

Hm well I have to think about it! I haven't started working on the bodywork yet. I'm planning to replace the front panels, front spoiler by a bbs and ad a bumper.

That ugly square rear foglight probably is OE.

I think you could also fit phase 2 rearlights with the foglight intergrated in the unit. Should be an easy fix...

Nice ride!

Indeed, zender lights in the front.

I would leave them as they are. Just paint them in your car's colour.

Didn't know there was a difference between ph 1 and ph 2 taillights...

Hehe yeah, i think i'll leave the headlights just the way they are...my uncle fitted those back in '79, so acutally it's an emotional reason :D And the project..well, i'm respraying my rims and it is looking quite nice! I'll post some pics as soon as i get home. But...there is a big issue with the engine! Check this thread:

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks,
Niki

Haha this forum really gives me the extra motivation to restore my car! The M20 is really giving me a hard time lately. Well tomorrow i'll be picking up some fresh blinkers and the black panel between the taillights. By the way, does anyone have taillights for sale?

Oh yeah, and today I got my new camera (Pentax K100D for anyone who's interested) so I hope i can take some nice new pictures!
