Getting some interest on ebay now which is promising, oh just realised this is the wrong thread, sod it i've started so i'll finish!

Give me a year (or less if i win the lotto) and i'll have an e21 again and keep it for good.

So long as she goes to a good home I'll have to settle to be happy with that for now...

in my personal opinion i think anyone buying an E21 these days is going to be an enthusiast. and anyone who is an enthusiast, generally cares about their cars. think about it, why would a non-enthusiast buy a 28 year old car? it doesn't make sense at all. i can't "justify" owning the car i do. it's not economical, it's not cheap to run, it does need new parts quite often (although hopefully that should stop for a while!) and i don't park it by my house cos some scrote of a student might key it, so i park it a 15min walk away in a secure car park. someone who doesn't give a flying f*** about cars, simply will not buy an E21 IMO. there is no point.

me...i just love the character of thing. the community ain't bad too 8)

Keep it! If she runs fine, just drive it and enjoy. My 318i has been a rust bucket ever since I had it, 3 years now. It's even more fun than my 320i, I can just throw the 318i around because it's an old banger :D
