Hmm very tempting I reckon they might look cool I may have to do a test fitment.
Oh yes it will be ready, I went out in it today it took me less than a minute to be stopped at a set of lights and someone to beep me to ask what the feck is under the bonnet. Straight out of paint polished to within an inch of its life and on std steels people are not expecting the way that it gathers speed. fitting the new springs tomorrow and if I get chance detail the engine bay. got to say though whilst not driving it and just spending money hand over fist on it I do get very tempted to get rid.....a minute behind the wheel is a reminder of how much I love it and might never sell it its awesome plain and simple.

Well done on the effort. It only took you a few days tolay on fresh paint. that's an achievement.

It's kind of what he does, painting stuff quickly!
If you want to take a look at the wheels they are in my shed. Am working tomorrow late and on Saturday so visit Friday evening would be the only option before this weekend.

of course but he only does a bit at a time. Can't wait to see it really. Think 13s with race tyres would be great look on this car tbh.

The steelies look great on it as well, they suit the understated looks. But no matter what wheels, I love the whole car and it looks just brilliant. By the looks of it you're running stock 323i front brakes? Any plans for an upgrade there?

cheers I love it on the steels and am tempted to add an inch or two to them and some wider tyres because as they are at the moment they don't cope well. I almost had some willwoods but it never happened so im going to see what can be done but something will be at some point. I want to lose the servo to be honest and make some room in the bay. but im going to try and leave it as is for a few months , use and get to know it as ive probably done less than 200 miles in it since I bought it.

I've seen some wheels called ATS cups I think, they are wide and look abit like our steels, and are wide, may keep your car the classic touch! But really whatever, it's one of the top cars on this forum.

well its all clean and locked in the unit ready for an early start in the morning off to retro gathering (wish me luck its the furthest it will have been). anyway pic of the interior as it is at the mo as I don't think I ever posted any

so looking at these pictures are the calipers for vented discs the same as non vented but with a spacer bewtween the two halves?

As ever with the e21 it got out of hand (I must say though it goes like stink and sounds awesome)
I went looking for rust and found none
Did some work on the cookie cutters but can't decide weather to paint the centres Porsche macadamia brown or not I'll fit them in white and see how they look.
Lastly got some old school recaros in mint condition I just need to decide weather to go for a safe or bold full leather retrim or try and get them covered in the original fabric and keep it stealth and original.
those are same seats ive had in all my e21s so far mk 1 astra GTE seats
cant find any now though....
