deffo quad tips are soooo early 90's.
owners of e21's don't want to be on the cover of max power anymore..... with their kiami bonnet vents, furry dice, 6x9's mounted in sun visors and whatnot.

looking at those headers, I dont think they are going to fit RHD cars. :(

Sorry, the best part of those pictures on page 2 are the 6 branch and the downpipes, the back boxes look nasty, sorry... i think maybe the back boxes should have single pipes ..... the piping looks standard box type with 2 tailpipes at the end..

Where the pipes go up over the diff/driveshaft are they just squeexed flat like the standard system?

+1 on the single tailpipes too.

This is what we need for RHD.

On the O.E. the twin pipes were sqeezed to fit, on the supersprint, its a singles pipe, that allowes the same exhaust flow volume, but has a little more room. I don't believe it nned squeezing at all. It's been a while snce I've seen actual parts. We sold our last system about 6 years ago, when they were discontinued.
The rear mufflers can be built with single tips.
I will have to check on tooling for th RHD?? Not sure if that was available.

Supersprint RHD e21 headers

Supersprint never made a RHD header for the 323i e21. They did make a RHD for the e30 325i, Which fit both RHD and LHD. My thought is to incorporate the deasighn of both systems and make a LHD, RHD system.

I know to do this project I would need a commitment of at least 15 sets of headers. And I'm not sure what is currently out on the market?? And at what price??

Pheonix Exhausts make an e21 header/manifold on behalf of Fritz Bits which retails at about £414 plus VAT & £747 plus VAT for the exhaust system. Total - £1 365.

There are currently no other 'off the shelf' systems in the UK as far as I know.

is this system stainless, and is it header, resonator, and L&R rear muffler?

Yes, as far as I am aware anyway.

I know that Longlife will build a bespoke stainless system that runs from the standard manifold for around £500 GBP plus VAT but they don't do a header/manifold.

i went to long life years back and i asked them for my car and they said they wont do it cos it casuses problems thet there back boxes cant take a 2.3 and turns out to be loud e.t.c. (they should hear my bloody car then) and some bullshit story, so i phone another agency and they said the same thing, by this time i got hold of a full stainless steel middle + 2 back boxes for 80 quid and said to longlife sod you lot! maybe too much involve building them?
