Seems alright, blended in and all, but too much of the mustang feel and also its you that would be driving the car so you would feel more for what you think, but as for mustangs it just reminds me of them!!

Looks ok but not to fascinated..... i like the silver 2002 with germany striped flag colour!!!!

With red base I'd go for silver and satin black. Just don't go for anything to lairy like bright yellow!

I like the first idea red with the black stripe, I would say 'Go for it!'

Hi Steinke

What are the specs of the rims in the pic above? What size are they, how wide, offset, etc...?

Have you got any pics of the side of the car to get a better view on the 02 arches?

TIA, mate!

Cheers

Very nice indeed! Thanks for the information and pics.

Any idea what make the flares are? They look well detailed with the border and all.

Cheers

sweet project! 8)
love the wheels, flares, rear end, front splitter, and seats. what are you doing for sideskirts? i reckon some jap drift-style ones would look the business, and compliment the jap seats too. and they'd match/suit the front bumper.
keep us updated :D

I am so sorry for all these malformed cars :?
We are going even worse withi this forum than the e30 cheap tuning fraction does.
Guess most of you will regret their conversions in a few years when they look at a classic old school E21.

@ christoph

I assume you don't like '80 BMW E21 race cars then? Here in Belgium an original E21 is worth sh*t and I personally think an original E21 looks nothing special to me. Just my 2 cents...

Man you think you have a racing car by adding these wheel arches and a bigger inline six?
From my point of view an original E21 will always be worth more than a home made brew.
I could understand when you build up a racing car from the basics and really take it out to race. :)
But like that its just angling for somebodys attention with this kind of "need for speed" looks..
But luckily we are a free community and everybody may have his own opinion.
As for me I prefer the slightly lowered but unmolested examples. Different people, different taste.

Alpina met a demand by owners to increase the performance and enhance the looks of BMW's and did it with factory blessing. As you say, its personal choice but I'd choose tasteful mods and race car replicas every time.
Cant wait to lower my Baur and fit Alpina arches froma 2002!

All you have to say is you dont like it. Thanks for your great opinion.

I do plan on the car being a track car eventually. :) The american version of the car has diving boards as their bumpers and i dont like that.............. do you?
