Nice Husky there Mark, I always wanted one but decided to get a Chow Chow. Then I spent 3 years looking for a one.

Here he is the day i brought him home..... he's just a bit bigger now :lol:

He is the most placid dog I've ever seen, nothing bothers him or winds him up. Children literally just walk up & grab him to give him a cuddle.... I was once walking him when out of nowhere this toddler just wandered out of a garden & grabbed hold of him, I crapped myself cos I didn't know how he was going to react but he just sat down & let her get on with cuddling him.
Chow Chow's are very quiet dogs too, very rare he barks at anything. i've only heard him growl twice & I've had him since he was 8weeks old, both times have been when he's been attacked by the next door but 1's Rodezian ridgeback :(

That's literally the best dog I've ever seen... My girlfriend says she's getting a labrador... Yeah right, not anymore!

Does he shed much fur? We already have very long haired cats to contend with!

Not really, he takes a lot of brushing (Which I forget to do most times) just make sure you get them used to being bathed/brushed when they're little, I didn't & you should see me fighting with a 5st Chow trying to get him in the bath :lol:
