maybe we could start another post- what do you do for work. when i tell most people what i do they ask what and i have to explain it in very simple terms

I do not know if everybody wants to tell where they work but i know that there are many differences between the E21 owners.

I am not sure but i think there is such a topic somewhere.

ok- i was supposed to start working on my car but i got called out to work again. cant fight a paycheck. parts are stacking up so i wont have to wait for things to get here, which is a good thing. having to work on an exhaust system- tons of welding, 20 hours so far.

Is it a gasexhaust or from the coolingsystem?

Indeed you must get the money to get the hobby financed.

peter v- its the gas exhaust. comes right off the backside of the gas turbine. i think the temp in this area will be around 900- 1000 degrees. there is going to be over 1000 linear feet of welding required for this exhaust.
on a car related note- i sent my cam out for a regrind- well actually the missus did it for me

ok- slight update. have a small window to do some things on the car. finishing the headlight buckets. painted the rims, well at least two of them- sealed the floor plug

it seems like its been forever since an update. finally got my cam back from the regrinder. had them put a 284 grind on it. dropped that off at the machine shop. also picked up my block from the machine shop. that thing is sick clean. will post a pic or two of the block after the thanksgiving stuff is over.

ok- turkey day is over and its almost christmas. jeez, where did the year go. got called out on a another job. finally got some time to post the pics of my block and a little bit of resto work ive been getting done

the hood roller that i posted a pic of earlier. i took it down to bare metal and shot it with self etching primer and three coats of epoxy paint

heres a rear shock tower brace/ battery mount ive been working on. need to make the mount for the battery and weld it up. gonna paint it with the epoxy paint too.
