Not the car just a part.

Got a set of rear calipers shot blasted, the part that bolts onto trailing arm where the other caliper half slides up and down on has been bent out of shape! I will try and post a pic later today, but how can i bend it back? Is this metal cast? I tried heating it with a blowtorch, maybe i cant get it hot enough!

how the hell did you bend that!

Just get another one from a breaker mate. Straightening it might cause it to crack or fail all together.

I can't believe thay bent it have they sent you back the right part

I should have a pair of E21 rear calipers you could use to get the bit you need. PM me if interested.

I dont know how they did it! I dismantled them and they were fine. its a small coatings shop, they dont do a lot of car bits, definately mine. Buggers
