What is so unique about the Ratio of this paticular diff

I think he's confusing the standard 325 e30 diff ratio 11/40 is a 3.64:1 and the 11/38 if the standard 323i 3.45:1

I've rung and spoken to a dealer who reckons he currently has 3 e21 LSD's but he is yet to agree a price on any of them. I think they are all un-tested although he has no reason to think there's a problem with them. I'm sure they'll all need a good clean and oil changes though.
Anyway, as soon as I have more details I will post them here so you can call the guy yourselves.

All 4 difs have been sold already. Seems that demand far outweighs demand.
