air filter
air filter
which is better for the weber 32/34 k&n or ram air also wa hight would it have to be not to touch the bonnet
Re: air filter
well a ram air will always be better as you are forcing in cold air rather than sucking hot air from all over the engine bay. faster colder air means a lower pressure in the venturi which means more fuel and more bang for your buck.
thats kinda the theory but sometimes not the case
best thing IMO is to have a large open top carb with a big air scoop on the bonnet (subaru style) which slams lots of cold air on and around the carb but doesnt necasarily force it into the opening. placing a scooby scoop on your e21 however will get you shot

Re: air filter
i quite like my stock air box with a K&N stuffed in it... would like to try a ram air or cone style filter set up though. let us know if you see any improvements...
