Re: Project Pro Street
What size are those tires? Is that an MX5 spacesaver you have fitted as a slave wheel? I was thinking about using one as a spare myself.

The tyres are 325/50/15.not sure what the front are going to be yet though.think the space saver is from a golf. the engine is a 355 chevy 5.8 litre.hope petrol goes down though lol.

Are you back-halfing the car, or making a full tube frame?pro-street beemer wrote:The tyres are 325/50/15.not sure what the front are going to be yet though.think the space saver is from a golf. the engine is a 355 chevy 5.8 litre.hope petrol goes down though lol.

Re: Project Pro Street
the car is getting back halfed because the engine will fit with the inner wings inplace,if it had,nt then yeah it would of been a full tube chassis.when i get the car back then i will post more pics of what ive had done.i cant wait to start lol.

Re: Project Pro Street
It's surprising what will fit in an E21 engine bay; i saw some pics on Facebook a while back of one with a 302 Ford lump in it with no engine bay mods.pro-street beemer wrote:the car is getting back halfed because the engine will fit with the inner wings inplace,if it had,nt then yeah it would of been a full tube chassis.when i get the car back then i will post more pics of what ive had done.i cant wait to start lol.
There was an SBC-powered Pro-street E21 featured in a British magazine a few years back; it had a 9-inch Ford rear and had been back-halfed. Looked the tits.
