hi guys. well project pro street finally gets the green light lol.must admit ive not had to do to much at the moment,just finishing stripping out back to a bare shell then its off to the fabricaters for the fun to begin.just got my rear tyres from america,there bloody huge lol.ive got a couple of pics but will post the main ones when i get the car back with all the goodies done.bottom end of engine is also built so i can get on with that while car is away.glad xmas is coming ive got a big list.

firstly thx for getting my pics up,i must of been having a blonde moment lol.secondly yep there street legal,found it hard to believe myself but i know quite a few people useing them so ordered some lol.

should be able to get ALL the power down from the 4 pot with them tyres!

What size are those tires? Is that an MX5 spacesaver you have fitted as a slave wheel? I was thinking about using one as a spare myself.

The tyres are 325/50/15.not sure what the front are going to be yet though.think the space saver is from a golf. the engine is a 355 chevy 5.8 litre.hope petrol goes down though lol.

Are you back-halfing the car, or making a full tube frame?

the car is getting back halfed because the engine will fit with the inner wings inplace,if it had,nt then yeah it would of been a full tube chassis.when i get the car back then i will post more pics of what ive had done.i cant wait to start lol.

It's surprising what will fit in an E21 engine bay; i saw some pics on Facebook a while back of one with a 302 Ford lump in it with no engine bay mods.
There was an SBC-powered Pro-street E21 featured in a British magazine a few years back; it had a 9-inch Ford rear and had been back-halfed. Looked the tits.

yeah i didnt think a chevy would fit but we worked out it will with inner wings intact.got my 9in coming so cant wait to get it back from the fabricaterl
