I ripped out the headlining recently with a view to removing the sunroof. I was surprised to see how much junk there was attached to the roof! It looked quite complicated to remove/cut out so I just left it there to come back with an action plan.
Has anyone got any experience of removing all the sunroof cage/pipes etc so I'm just left with a hole in the roof from the missing hatch and a clean ceiling? Any tips?

Rob take out the sunrood and all of the supports only leavethe roof suporrts that run across the width of the car
take the sunrrof split the skins, take the top skin bend the mounting tabs 180deg and bond it back into the roof with polyurathane windscreen glue all around the edge, the black outline look pretty much like the sunroof seal.
