Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car and oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car. Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall. Torque is how far you take the wall with you.

Re: '78 323 Baur
Hey Guys, Sorry for the delay... Holidays and Kids! Anyway I have always wanted one since High School (not knowing how rare they are). I purchased mine from an individual in South Carolina USA. He was stationed overseas in the military for a number of years and became an E21 fanatic. The car I purchased and shipped out to California; is complete and (from what I have gathered) has rust in usual areas. Before I shipped it out, I asked him if he had any additional parts. I ended purchasing a set of original 6 & 7 factory Alpina rims as well as some other goodies; including extra rubber trim for the Baur and lowering springs. The car itself has an Alpina Gauge cluster, steering wheel, etc. I am learning as I go along with this car (Air cooled and American V8s is what I do know!). As luck would have it... I am getting ready to lease my other shop to a team of guys who specialize in custom Bimmers (mainly E30/M). I am sure I will learn a lot between this transaction and keeping in touch you guys. Meanwhile... I have no idea how post pictures on this forum. Please let me know how to do so. Best.
