Mark all systems are abut the same price and do the same thing
The most important thing is who is going to map it and are they local, as using the ecu that a local rolling road is used tomapping could save £100-200 in mapping and the cost of getting the car to the rollers.
As well as the ecu you need to make the harness which should be easy as you could cut down a stock harness and mount the new plug connector on, other hidden costs are sensors are they going to work with the ecu or do you need new ones? you are going to need a new tps at least whatever ever ecu you use.

Slug runs on DTA, DTA supply a ready made loom which is a lot easier than making one, however as Jason says - use what the tuning man uses.

Re: m20 engines & management
I'm looking at having the installation done by Northampton Motorsport and they are Omex agents so happy to do the mapping. I'm just waiting for them to get back to me about fitting the supercharger / intercooler etc at the same time.
