The left side running lights (front turn signal, rear tail light, rear sidemarker) do not come on when i pull the headlight switch out. Everything else works fine. The guy before me would wire the tail light directly to the battery which would illuminate both front and rear, makingit all seem like its working.
Once i got the car i did this one night and noticed smoke coming from behind the tail light cover. i quickly disconnected it and checked it out. Looks like the wiring going to the side marker light has fried completely. Im guessing its due to the direct connection to the tail light from the battery that the kid was doing.
Is there anyway to bypass the side marker light so I can at least have my frotn and rear driving lights working? Anyone know how i can fix this problem? Been pulled over once and really dont wanna keep going through this. Thanks!
