Thieves

Post by e21-Mark »

I've got a small local authority lock-up that has been broken into for a 2nd time in 12 months. The stuff that has gone missing is quite unusal though and not a whole lot of use to anyone who doesn't own an 02 or an e21. I've handed in the keys now and just have my workshop which I have just had to alarm & insure. Not cheap! The only good thing is that all the stuff that has been taken is marked with ''smart water'' and it cannot be removed. If anything does turn up on eBay etc, at least it can be identified.
If any of you have parts etc stored in a lock-up it might be worth you asking your local Police about marking with Smart Water. I would also get an alarm and watch who you tell the location of your lock-up too.

interesting, seems there is a wave starting. I have heard of cars on the street being stripped to order by ebay sellers. I also had an e21 5speed and dif stollen from my house in April. Thing is they were sitting there for 4 years and went missing now. No smart water Im afraid.:(

Yeah best to keep quiet and keep your eyes peeled for a while with that, maybe a good idea to just pm a couple of people you trust to watch out too. I wish we could still chop the hands off scummy fu*&ing thieving c**nts like in the days of old

Though at the same time if it's someone from here (that knows where mark's lock up is) those items won't come up for sale in the UK and the person prob won't get caught.

If you catch the person, it's all about going medievil on him.
