I have a US 1982 320i with A/C. According to BMW, the A/C unit was not a BMW product, but VW. The A/C fan speed now only works on high and apparently the blower resistor is shot. Problem is, BMW cannot locate a replacement part, even from VW. Does anyone know where I can obtain a replacement A/C blower resistor for this model.

i know its been awhile since u may or may not have gotten an answer but only thing i can think of is anyone who parting out bmw parts like in the classifieds in newspapers or craigslist or as such. another place is like around here is Pick n Pull. so any place that tows used cars and has a huge lot of parted vehicles. Dismantlers if thats the right word lol.
