Rev counter & radio

Post by v6power »

Hi,

Bit of an odd one. I recently fitted a new stereo to my 320. A very easy and stright forward job that went smoothly and when I checked everything worked afterwards, all was OK. A couple of weeks later I started it to find that the rev counter wasn't working along with my new stereo and the clock. During a 40 mile journey, it burst into life. Many stop starts that day and all was good. Until the last time of starting when it had all died again??

Any ideas
Thanks Ade

I'd start by checking the fuses for a corroded connection, clean them or turn them a couple of times (the E21 twist lol) especially fuses 12 and 14.
