Dipped beam not working

Post by Dan323i »

My dipped beams stopped working the other night. High beam OK, sidelights OK, the dipped beam bulbs look ok. When I tested it there was no current across the terminals. The fuses are all intact and relays seem ok. So I'm guessing the switch in the dashboard? I can't even figure out how to get the damn thing off the dashboard to check that, so any advice welcome!

isnt there like a big nut on the back of the switch to get it out? have you got another one to plug in and test?

I've only got the one switch. Didn't realise there was a big nut at the back – only had a quick fumble (ooerr)! I'll try to extract it tomorrow and see if there's anything obvious wrong with it.
