Handbrake light stuck on!

I noticed the other day that the handbrake light was starting to flicker on and off, but now it is fully on all the time.

Im not sure if this means its asking for some new pads etc, iv checked the brake fluid and all ok.

Or is it just actually stuck on?

Remove the rubber boot at the back of the handbrake lever. At the end of the lever there's a tiny cable that should be in a copper clip, most likely it's loose and making a permanent connection.

also are the wires attached to the float on the brake fluid cap?
