Sharknose Meeting 2012 in the Netherlands - report on pg 2

Get ready for another Sharknose Meeting in 2012!

After a few fabulous first years we're having another Sharknose Meet in 2012 for sure! The team has already gathered and set a date: Saturday May 26th. We may be on the early side with this announcement, but you better block your schedule right now for another amazing classic and youngtimer BMW get together.

We will be using the same location in Apeldoorn (Netherlands) where we will make sure there are even more exclusive cars, more parts for sale and much more. Bigger and better each year, and still for free!

We'll keep you up to date here and on our website http://www.sharknosemeeting.com which currently is undergoing a thorough facelift. It's still quiet there but you can already find a shipload of photos there as well as a video impression of the 2011 edition, special thanks to driving-fun.com!

Next year I shouldn't have any excuse not to go. Car is 90% finished already!

I was thinking that it would be wise to combine this with a trip to the Nurbergring as it would be rude. Not to!

Yeah why not, less than 3 hours from the Apeldoorn site and with a bit of luck you can do some Touristenfahrten before coming to us, or go to Roack am Ring right after!

I am really hoping to be able to take the TWR this year.

Nas and I are also thinking of a Nordschleife diversion if anyone else is up for it?

Definately! its not that far from the sharknose meet. That reminds me must check the Nurberging event calender!

No events, Nordschleife is open the two days after so that could make a great combo! You could also choose to spend the Sunday at the Spa track first now you're here and do some more drooling at the Spa Classic. Now how a bout that for a package deal?! Yep, also registered - Spending a couple of days in Amsterdam with my girlfriend (no, not Kersti, who went with me last year ), celebrating my 30th birthday on the 25th, and driving to Apeldoorn saturday morning

A new season always starts slowly and often people are still busy with the major winter maintenance.

But even so, and with a month and a half to go, the counter just passed 130 already! If we compare with last year's applications the event is bound to grow again!

There is already an overwhelming interest for the appraisals, we found some truly unique cars to display and we still have room left on the sales square so if you have one or more BMW oldoes to sell... for a mere 10 Euros your car is at the most central location surrounded by hurds of fanatics!

Time flies, less than 3 weeks to go before the FREE Sharknose Meeting takes place. And the number of registrations is increasing nicely!
