suspension

right rear shock hitting the underside of the parcel shelf i have checked my top mount and it appers to be ok but this is bugging me now the shocks are gaz coilovers anyone got any ideas

may seem strange but check the turret hasnt cracked had it happen to me were it joins the inner arch ta kev

same as them pics. see where the nut is that is what hits the shelf i can see the dampner rod when i bounce the rear of the car its quite hard explain ill see if i can post a video of it happening

As I said it's exactly the same problem I had with this car (my old track car) and we had to strip out the damper to repair & modify it. You can see where its torn through the rubber top mount.

Same thing. You need to strip out the rear shock and replace rubber top mount.

Yeah

your rear stock mount is gone, if you running coil overs I would run uprated ones

they are e28 top mounts from ground contol in america
