How can i tell if a gearbox is a 4 or 5 speed when its not in a car

If it is for 4 cyl, if it is 5 speed it has a sandwich part.
If it is a 5 speed eco, reverse switch is on the top.
If it is a 5 speer sport, reverse switch is on the back.

4 speed for 4 cyl

5 speed eco for 4 cyl
