38th Scottish transport extravaganza weekend (Glamis)

Post by jbh325i »

I was wondering if there's any members fancy a weekend camping at the annual Scottish transport extravaganza on the 7th & 8th of July

we've had a club stand up there the last 4 years running and would like to try and get more folk involved

were looking for members to come up and enjoy a great weekend with like minded people and have the chance to put there car on the stand to show off there car and help promote the clubs involved

If you haven't been to this in the past the best way off describing this is a massive car show that will cover everyone's tastes, large auto-jumble come boot sale come outdoor market. there's also several activities going on in the arena which normally includes a stunt show

there's also plenty of snack bars and the scout tent which does a great breakfast for those that are camping

there's also several vendors up there selling new good quality tools ( sealey had a van up there last year )
over the last few years I've personally came home with plenty of bargains ranging from 2002 sills, tools, tool boxes and gunk

there's kids rides and a beer tent for those who have the need its a weekend that the full family can all enjoy

sadly this falls on the same weekend as T in the park ( 7th & 8th of July ) but its a great alternative where you can bring the kids and family

if you would like more information please email me direct on jbh@retrobmw.co.uk

there is a fee of £5 per car which includes 2 passes into the show ground and a weekend camping pass

If you would like to put your name down please say bellow.
so far we have 9 members from the BMWCC and 5 members from retrobmw with there names down so come lets make this a weekend to remember for all us like minded people

James
