Hex Head Screws

Post by AndyBaur »

I've been looking for some "Hex head screws" as BMW calls them. They are used in various places in various sizes but they seem to be unobtainable from anywhere but BMW. This can't be right?

The actual ones I'm after are - ST4 8x16 (BMW p/n 07.11.9.901.299) which hold the front arch splash panels in.

They must be available from other suppliers?

There are tons of fixing companies on the net .

Basically a self tapping hex head.

Bmw use these on all models around the same era and after...

My searches for "Hex Head Screw" kept coming back with bolts although they called them "screws".
