MOD: E28 part split off from Pedi's E21 Peters Convertible thread which can be found here
Hello guys!
There is approx one year since last time I posted pics here.
I have NOT done anything to my beloved E21, all sparetime (next to family etc) has been given to my E28. The E28 was supposed to be finished summer 2012, but due to oilpressure problems - the time ran away from me. So I decided to postpone both E21 and E28 plans one year. Again.
I am getting real close to completion now, so my guess is spring 2013.
Sorry for OT (E28 instead of E21 update), but I just wanted to give a heads-up and tell you guys that attend this thread that I have not forgotten about the E21, I have had the E28 first in line.
So, here are just a few pics - not the latest ones, but a couple of months old pics....
Again, sorry 'bout E28 pics. But we all share the same passion, good old E2X-cars, so I guess I might be forgiven..

That E28 looks lovely Pedi. Is it Sepang Bronze or another colour?

Sad to hear about the oil pressure setback with that fabulous E28. Hope she'll be up and running soon, not in the least to see you start doing more magic on the E21 of course as well! Never mind if you're not here all the time, just keep us updated every now and then... good luck!

Thanks!
Yeah, the color is from the E60 M5 Individual, Sepang bronze Metallic. Beautiful color in real life.

Jeroen, I found the troublemaker-issue - as I took the engine out and did a total dismantle again. Two of the oil jet nozzles had fallen out when I cleaned the engine before assembly first time. I overlooked that by a mistake. Now I have replaced those with 6 new nozzles, so I got a perfect oilpressure now... It runs like a cousy kitten now, totally perfect!
It really seams like I will finish up the E28 for the 2013 season, the odds are on my side. It is just small detail here and there left now - but the small finishing details are too important to rush it... I have attended a new job just a few months ago, so my spare hours a few. Nevertheless I hope that I'll get my fingers on the E21 fall/winter 2013... But I have said that so many years now

, that I cannot promise anything...
If it is OK with you Jeroen, I'll leave a few links for the E28 threads. One in Norwegian (A detailed thread, but in Norwegian) and one in English (not detailed at all, but alot of pics). I also included the "Justforfun" Facebook-page from my garage... Not much to see there, but some pics are there too.... Please LMK if you want me to remove the links....

Car has its own thread now so make sure to supply us with even more info, pictures and links!
BTW if the car is ready in the spring of 2013 how about a test drive to Holland? Expecting more Norwegian madmen to come to the Sharknose Meeting around June...

OK, I will supply with more pics hee as the car completes during spring...
I would love to attend the Sharknose meeting, but June is a "bad" month. I am attending the build of a new oilplatform, and the Sail-Away offshore is July 2013. There are also a E30Meet in the same month that I would like to attend (in Norway), and I can hardly put some time off to join that.
But I can assure you one thing: I will pay you guys a visit on a Sharknose-meeting i Holland sometime, no doubt about that!
