I have done a couple of times

Front e12 hubs

rear welder & tape measure and a rear axle of your choice

This isn't a 5 minute job bolt-on job. If memory serves, there is also some machining to be done? I think the e12 hub comes in 2 sizes and m535i ones have a larger bearing. Also the hub is longer than an e21 on so it changes the front track. The centre bore of the e12 brake disk is smaller than the later 5 stud cars, so you'll need spigot rings. I was going to do this (when I thought about buying Jason's old 5 stud set-up) but it's just too much grief for me. That's why I got PCD adaptors instead.

If you Google ''e21 to e12 hub conversion'' there's plenty of old info (much of which is by Jason as he's done more of this sort of stuff than most. (When it comes to e21 he's a sick man :crazy )

If still determined, you could ask Arshad if he wants to part with the hubs etc, from the e3 he's just broken up?
