Anyone fancy a mega cheaps E30 ? Its a bit rough around the edges and some t**t keyed it but the engine and gearbox are as good as you'll find. £400 for someone to save it as ill be part ex-ing it in next week. It is taxed until 31/05 and tested until 20/05. 107k ont clock, loads of history with it.

Just a little endorsment on the 1.8 E30.I drive a 1.8 Touring to work and back,A 70 mile round trip.It will do 80mph all day and return over 30mpg.Its comfortable ,reliable and a BMW.Parts are readily available and if you give them regular oil changes they go forever. This sounds a sweet deal.Don't miss out.
There's one out there with my name on it.

I agree Gaz. I had an e30 318i for a while, great car, good on juice and wasn't that less smoother than a straight six.

Tappets were noisy when I first bought it, seats don't wear too well, but apart from that they're very good cars. £400 you'll get your money back driving and then selling it on or breaking it for parts.

I just need rid. Having to buy a sensible car for work. Its a bit tatty but could be turned into a great motor easily. You wont find a better engine and gearbox. The cam is not worn at all and revs right up to the redline easily

Id rather see it used than broken to be honest
