Things to replace while struts are out?
I'm planning on replacing the shocks on my 320i this weekend. Is there anything that should be replaced at the same time, or that I should look for wear on while I have to take that much stuff apart?

A few checks that come to mind:
- top bearing for freeplay (decompress spring and have a feel before dismantling the rest)
- dustcaps on balljoints
- drain hole at the bottom spring plate open
give extra attention to the sequence of the o-rings around the top bearing, affects wear and steering!
