That is how the turbocar looks now, but it's to rusty so I bought this to build on winter 06/07.

Here is a movie on the red turbocar from 2005.

Yepp! Even in 4th gear it was hard to kepp traction. Last year I had a other turbo. Holset HX40, this year I took it's little brother Holset HX35. Works better on my engine. Better spool-up!

Well, we are not satisfied with the stock M20 BMW engines so that is why we overload them... ;)

About the burnout, it was with WINTERTYRES on... ;) I'll give U a match about burnouts!

Sorry for my bad english!

Hey Mike, iv seen your red e21 turbo clip ages ago and thought it was one hell of a setup! Completely stripped, messy engine bay, radiator held by 2 small brackets! Not to mention the aluminium side skirts and side exhaust..!! I thought this was the coolest e21 i have ever seen! LOVE IT! Pity about the rust.

Thank you very much! E21 with overloaded engine isn't so easy to find, like the E30 chassie. In sweden that is the most used chassie for turboengines...

The sideskirts aren't aluminium, it's sheet metal... ;) Painted in black and only screwed with metalscrews... ;)

Nice! I was planning on making an e21 like yours, i have the turbo the engine and all the required bits and pieces but ran out of money and was forced to sell my 323i. But working on getting another one very soon so i can get an e21 turbo on the road. Very rare here in australia an e21 turbo and if there is one its probably an sr20det powered or rotary turbo.

I really like this forum beacause every time I'm logged on I see there is rooling a E21 in australia and other cool countries that I never thought a BMW E21 driving around...

My silentblocks are changed and next weekend, 5th august I will drive on the strip. I hope for a low 8sec on 1/8mile and a 12sec time on 1/4mile.

I'll give U all some pics from that event!

Regards...
