Epic fail!

Post by polov8 »

Went to the breakers yesterday afternoon, just for a browse round, and stumbled accross this gem....

What do you do, if you have a relatively tidy, well painted mk1 golf cabriolet, but then decide you really want a hard top?

From a distance, it looked like a purble golf with a white soft top.

When I got closer, there seemed something very weird about the surface of the roof

Yup, the fabric has been romoved from the frame, fibreglass layed over the top, and then about 40 tubs of filler dumped on, and spread about! :loll

The car was in otherwise good condition. Shame... :nah
