Driveshaft balancing?!

Hi all,

Done a stupid thing and taken the driveshaft apart without marking it... No existing marks that I can see to line up the splines correctly again. Question is, do I need to get it balanced again or are the two halves balanced individually from the factory? Car is a 4 cylinder with 5 speed manual box.

You mean the prop I guess? That one's balanced as a set. You can try if you're lucky but chances are you need to have it balanced indeed.

Thanks for the reply, will give it a try then, see how bad the vibration is.
