Hi All,
I'm considering purchasing poly engine & transmission mounts and I'm wondering if anyone has experience of these and the addition vibration to the body?
I already have everything else poly bushed, on coilovers and have no problems with ride or vibration or squeaks but I am planning on a 2.7 stroker install and would like to get the power down properly with minimal shunt.
Experience from those that have already been there is appreciated as always.

Re: Poly Engine & Transmission mount
This is one of those totally subjective questions that is difficult to answer without a little more info. Is your car used purely for spirited driving, track days, and the like, or do you use it daily? You are going to get alot more noise and vibration in the car with poly mounts, which may add to the racey feel of the car if that's the direction you're going, but having driven a car with poly mounts (not mine, a friends) I'd describe it as bloody awful! If you have the budget, vibratechnics mounts are very effective, but failing that, stock rubber engines from something else with a larger, torquier engine would be my choice. You're trying to limit the torque reaction rather than increase the vibration transmission so perhaps fabricating a more beefy engine damper might have the desired result?

Thank you for the response.
In terms of use it will be a weekend driver predominantly with the rare track day although I am not looking for the fastest car on track. My predominant goal is improve feedback to the driver and provide the car with a feeling of rigidity.
As mentioned I have the majority of suspension components polybushed with coilover and adjustable top mounts front & rear and cannot complain about ride in any way although I do run relatively low spring rates.
