I got a seal set from
http://www.biggred.co.uk/ for the master cylinder
They are very helpful if you call them.

That's doing things the expensive way - if you can get the seals, take your master cylinder into a master cylinder repair shop (or engineering works) and get them to sleeve the original with a stainless steel insert. I have had this done on numerous cars and tractors over the past 30 years and have never had to touch a sleeved unit again!

I spoke to pastparts who do that service and it was more expensive!

I've repaired a few now using replacement seals. It's easy. As Jeroen said there's plenty of info on this.
Once I found a new old stock lhd one for dirt cheap and I used the internals in a rhd one, worked fine.
I haven't had to 're sleeve one ever but thats a bloody good idea actually didn't know you could do that!

Why resleeve? To stop the pitted walls shredding the new seals?

I had my master cylinder stainless sleeved and refurbished By Fritz's bits. Was about £210 and took 3 weeks to turn it around but it was a good job, it came back better than new.
